The powerhouse of fashion and beauty is returning to the bay for FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week 2022, and it has a lot of creativity in its sleeve. The city of dreams will experience an exciting chapter hosted at Mumbai's renowned, new landmark site - Jio World Convention Centre between October 12 and October 16 following the first physical edition held in Delhi in March 2022. The five days of fashion will honour the spirit of the partnership between FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week with displays and collaborations with powerful designers, brand partners, and the best talent the sector has to offer. The festival will be off with a magnificent opening presentation by fashion designer Anamika Khanna on October 11 and will come to a close with the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale on October 16.
Designer team Shantanu & Nikhil took the stage for the first day of FDCI X LFW with a history of draperies and silhouettes for fans of everything modern. Kriti Sanon became the star of the event for designers Shantanu and Nikhil, who debuted their Capella bridal collection at the runway show. We can't help but lose our calm after Kriti posted a stunning video of her entrancing walk on Instagram. Kriti is incredibly graceful and self-assured, as evidenced by her flawless walk. She was wearing a stunning Shantanu & Nikhil outfit that was perfect for her. The creative team presented a stunning collection of luxurious designs for modern brides in advance of wedding season. Kriti, meanwhile, strutted down the runway wearing a shimmering lehenga ensemble covered in glitzy highlights and tone-on-tone embroidery.
The designers claimed that their most recent collection was inspired by the magnificent chandeliers from the Baroque Era. The stunning example of this was the attire Kriti wore, which was a show-stopping outfit. Her outfit featured a sensual blouse and a lavishly adorned, billowing lehenga. The short blouse had a plunging neckline and an inverted hem, and it was covered with embroidery and other embellishments. The dupatta's cape-like design enhanced the bridal ensemble's contemporary attractiveness. With glowing makeup that featured luscious lips, subdued smoky eyes, and sculpted brows, the actress looked stunning. Her flawless hair, parted in the centre and left open, provided the ideal finishing touch to her jaw-dropping appearance.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kriti Sanon has a couple of projects lined up. Kriti will star in Adipurush alongside Prabhas and film is all set to release on January 12, 2023. Apart from that, she will next be seen alongside Tiger Shroff in Vikas Bahl's action film Ganapath. Later, she will be seen alongside actor Varun Dhawan in the horror comedy Bhediya. She also has the film Shehzada with actor Kartik Aaryan Clearly; Sanon has a bunch of films in her kitty.
